This seminar is intended for the technician, manager and/or professional who does not feel satisfied or comfortable with his or her current level of knowledge or understanding of color, colorants and color matching. This seminar is NOT directed or recommended to those who already have extensive experience or training in this technology or specialty.
Course Overview:
About Bob Charvat:
Robert Charvat retired early from Engelhard Corporation to form his consulting organization, Charvat and Associates, Inc. He teaches coloring of plastics at Terra Community College, Fremont, Ohio that has a unique “Coloring of Plastics” program. He serves on the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Color and Appearance Division (CAD) Program Advisory Board to the college. He is member of the SPE CAD Board of Directors. A senior member of SPE since 1969, Mr. Charvat received the “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the SPE Color and Appearance Division in 1985 and the Society’s Honored Service Member in 1994. He was elected as a Distinguished “Fellow of the Society of Plastics Engineers” in 2000. This was followed by the Honorary Emeritus title in late 2002. Mr. Charvat is listed in “Who’s Who in Plastics and Polymers.”
