Biography

Neil Macdonald joined Lomon Billions as Quality & Technical Manager in April 2016. He is based in Stockton-on-Tees in the UK, and works closely with the company’s Production, Quality Control and Research & Development teams in Jiaozuo and Deyang, China and with customers worldwide. Before joining Lomon Billions, Neil worked for FP Pigments Oy, a Finnish company, where he was responsible for developing and promoting the technical performance of the company’s composite opacifying pigment products. During this time he presented many technical papers at major conferences in Europe, Asia and the USA. Neil developed his technical background in TiO₂ pigments over 21 years at Huntsman Pigments where he held technical roles associated with TiO₂ pigment product development, process development, photochemistry, surface analysis, and technical support for titanium dioxide pigment consumers. Neil has an Honours Degree in Chemistry from Glasgow University.
